ACTING 

Auditions will be open (for those who have signed up online). Meaning, you will not be assigned a time slot but are free to come and go in that time period. Each audition will take 5-10 minutes and up to 15 min. for those singing solos. Be prepared that there could be a bit of a wait. or you may choose to make an appointment for Sunday only.

 

Times and dates are: 5:30-9:00 pm on Monday, AUGUST 25 and THURS. AUGUST 28 at Purcellville Baptist Church. Auditions are also available by appointment on Sunday, AUGUST 24 from 1-3pm. For the Sunday auditions or if you are unable to come to any of these audition dates, please contact the director asap. (Patrice - 703 431-3111)

 

All rehearsals and performances are at Purcellville Baptist Church. Acting rehearsals will be every Monday and Thursday from 6:30-8:45 pm starting Sept. 11, not including Thanksgiving Day. Tech week will include every night from Dec. 1-6. Performances are Dec. 4 and 5 with a 5pm call time and Dec. 6 with a noon call time.  At audition time we will need a list of rehearsals you will not attend. This goes into consideration when casting. Actors are expected to be at all rehearsals not listed unless sick or family emergency.

 

Sides and solo music info will be sent out by email at least two weeks before auditions to those who have signed up.

 

Some of the smaller roles can also be considered for townies. If you receive a smaller role and would like to be considered for extra scenes as a townie, please tick that box as well. 

 

UNDER 12 ACTORS

We do have four roles for children under 12. These children will need to be mature enough to follow instructions, and be checked in and out of rehearsals by a parent or have the parent stay in rehearsals each time. If they are only needed for part of a rehearsal the parent will be responsible to pick up the child right as their time ends.

 

CHOIR

Jon Knight will be our choir director for this show. Minimum age for choir is 12 years old as of start of rehearsal (Sept. 15). Choir will meet every Monday starting Sept. 15 and have the same tech week schedule as actors, listed above. 

If you were in choir for TPP’S THE LAST SUPPER 2025, Jon has decided that you do not need to audition again. Signing up means you are in!  If you were not in choir for Good Friday, an audition is required - Monday, August 25, open - come anytime from 5:30-8:30 pm.

 

DANCING ANGELS

Leigh Anne Hickey will be choreographing and directing angels (assisted by Gracie Favelo). Minimum age for dancers is 12 years old as of start of rehearsals (Sept. 11). Audition is open but a good dance background is preferred. Dancers will rehearse mostly on Thursday evenings. Audition for dance is in one group from 7-7:30 pm only, Thursday, August 28
