THE DOOR is another Come to the Table production, a theater in the round. This play highlights some big moments in the ministry of Jesus, including many healings, and how he relates to different kinds of people, the Last Supper, Resurrection, and Heaven. It is a musical and all parts are singing, except for the role of Jesus.

As usual, we are not planning to use microphones for this Good Friday, so we are looking for actors who can project very well.

​

We are looking to build a cast of team players who are dedicated to this play. The cast will sing, act, and do a bit of dance together, as well as several challenging crowd scenes. Because most actors are in most scenes and will be learning many songs together, we need people to be able to be at most rehearsals.

​

Rehearsals are 6-9pm Mondays and Thursdays starting January 19. Mandatory dress techs are March 30 and 31 and performances are April 1,2,3. Three Saturday rehearsals are tentatively planned for January 31, Feb. 21, March 21 from 5:30pm-9pm.

​

The children in the cast (except for the character of Abigail) will be called very infrequently. We will do our best to keep them as short a time as possible.

​
